The French manicure was born in the 70s thanks to Jeff Pink, the founder of Orly (an internationally renowned Californian company) as well as the one who gave the green light to the use of acrylic, establishing himself as one of the greatest innovators in terms of products and nail trends. To meet the needs of shooting Hollywood films, Pink created this particular type of manicure that can easily adapt to any change of scene, light, dress, but also, possibly, hairstyle and make-up. Why, then, did she get the name of French manicure if she was born in the United States? The answer is simple. Pink soon made a trip to France to attend a high fashion show, where this revolutionary nail look was particularly appreciated. Since then it has been a continuous rise for French nails, which over the years has shaped itself to various fashions, with different colors and decorations.

White is a classic and timeless color. French nails have long been a customer favorite, although not all nail artists willingly commit to drawing it due to the relative difficulty of removing elements.
